PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT
Hunneman Real Estate is conducting a search for a PropertyAccountant with strong analytical and technical skills to join our team in Downtown Boston. This take-charge individual will be responsible for the financial management of a portfolio of properties for third party clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurate and timely processing of all accounting and reporting aspects of a portfolio of properties.
- Prepare monthly financial packages and supplemental financial information for properties in his/her portfolio, which include but not limited to accruals, prepaids, depreciation and cash flow.
- Ensuring the timely payment and accurate recording of mortgage payments, real estate payments and insurance payments.
- Prepare annual financials and respond to questions pertaining to year-end work with outside auditors.
- Maintain cash books on a daily basis, which includes wiring distributions to investors.
- Provide Property Managers with cash analysis for determining payables to pay.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least 3 years’ experience in real estate accounting
- Proficient with excel as well as MRI, Yardi and Timberline
ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER
Hunneman Real Estate is currently seeking a selfmotivated individual to support property managers overseeing large investment portfolios. This position is for a take charge individual capable of managing multiple tasks and responsibilities, with a focus on superior client and building customer service which requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The portfolio consists of commercial office, retail, and industrial investments.

Corporate Controller
Corporate Controller
Hunneman is in search of a Corporate Controller to join and be a significant part of our management team as it relates to Corporate Finance, Accounting, Payroll and Human Resources.
In this role, The Corporate Controller will report directly to and work closely with the CEO to support all functions of financial reporting and Payroll. The Corporate Controller will work with each division leader on budgets, monthly reporting, and general financial questions. The Corporate Controller will also work closely with the Human Resources Manager on the coordination and implementation of people related services, policies and programs and assisting and advising the executive management team on Human Resources and Payroll issues. Essential duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Prepare all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Work with tax accountants on yearend tax returns and tax planning for the year
- Processing of biweekly payroll for commissioned and noncommissioned employees
- Compensation and benefits administration in connection with our HR department
- Participate in the development of and support the Company’s strategic plans
- Monitor the financial performance of all Company assets and provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs
- Approve daily cash management and weekly check runs
- Create and prepare the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts
- Work with the Company Partners with annual and quarterly presentations as it relates to the financial review of the Company
- Monitors accounts receivable for collection issues
- Work with accountants on Government programs
- All other projects as assigned
- These duties are supported by a Corporate Accountant, which will be under your supervision
- Invest excess funds to maximize returns
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required
- Corporate Accounting experience is a must, with at least 5 years of progressive experience, real estate industry highly preferred
- Experience with Yardi, Timberline or MRI software is advantageous
- Experience with implementing a new Corporate Accounting system, which we will be looking at changing our current system.
- Must be very detail oriented with superior work ethic and have strong organizational skills
- Experience with HR departments and policies
- Demonstrate excellent organizational, leadership, relationship management, time management and verbal/written communication skills
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with real estate general ledger accounting systems
- Ability to interact in a team-oriented environment and show a willingness to collaborate and multitask
- High degree of personal integrity and ability to work effectively in a dynamic work environment
- Adaptability to changing demands
- Effective problem-solving skills
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, fun environment that values its team members and Company culture
