PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT
Hunneman Real Estate is conducting a search for a PropertyAccountant with strong analytical and technical skills to join our team in Downtown Boston. This take-charge individual will be responsible for the financial management of a portfolio of properties for third party clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurate and timely processing of all accounting and reporting aspects of a portfolio of properties.
- Prepare monthly financial packages and supplemental financial information for properties in his/her portfolio, which include but not limited to accruals, prepaids, depreciation and cash flow.
- Ensuring the timely payment and accurate recording of mortgage payments, real estate payments and insurance payments.
- Prepare annual financials and respond to questions pertaining to year-end work with outside auditors.
- Maintain cash books on a daily basis, which includes wiring distributions to investors.
- Provide Property Managers with cash analysis for determining payables to pay.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least 3 years’ experience in real estate accounting
- Proficient with excel as well as MRI, Yardi and Timberline
ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER
Hunneman Real Estate is currently seeking a selfmotivated individual to support property managers overseeing large investment portfolios. This position is for a take charge individual capable of managing multiple tasks and responsibilities, with a focus on superior client and building customer service which requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The portfolio consists of commercial office, retail, and industrial investments.

Property Manager
Property Manager
Hunneman is seeking an experienced Property Manager to work closely with real estate owners and develop customized programs to sustain high levels of occupancy and tenant satisfaction, while lowering property costs and enhancing the value of the building portfolio. The ideal candidate will:
- Oversee day to day operations and maintenance for an industrial and office portfolio
- Inspect assigned properties and identify any physical/operational deficiencies and correct the deficiency in accordance with budgeted guidelines, established property standards and ownership approval
- Coordinate and manage construction efforts for tenant improvements and capital projects
- Acts as primary contact with real estate owners and management to ensure that objectives are being met
- Competitively bids and prepares all service contracts to assure high quality and cost-effective services
- Oversees all financial activities
- Report monthly and quarterly financial results including cash flow forecasting
- Reviews and approves all accounts payable, ensuring accurate general ledger coding
- Create and implement annual operating budgets
- Collects all base rent, expense pass through billings, percentage rent and utility reimbursements as dictated by the lease agreement
- Follow up on late rent payments; issue late notices, negotiates payment plans with delinquent tenants, initiates collection proceedings as needed
- Coordinate lease administrative services including lease abstracting, rent collection and tenant reimbursement
Requirements of the Position:

- Intermediate to advance skills with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent customer service skills and leadership skills

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university preferred and a minimum of 5-10 years of related experience.
